Sendmail Presents “DMARC State of the Union” Webinar

Email Management Experts Demonstrate How New Authentication Standard Can Protect Email and Brand

Emeryville, CA—May 24, 2013—Sendmail, Inc. announced today it will host a new webinar to discuss how DMARC, a new standard for email authentication, can help organizations protect their messaging infrastructure as well as their corporate brand and reputation.

Entitled, “DMARC State of the Union: Hybrid Cloud,” the webinar will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. PDT. To register, click here.

DMARC, or Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance, was developed by a consortium of email providers, financial institutions, and major websites such as AOL, Comcast, Gmail, Yahoo!, Bank of America, PayPal, Facebook, Cloudmark and Return Path. Businesses need to know about DMARC, because it can protect their networks as well as their brands from phishing attacks.

DMARC improves security by preventing phishing messages from entering the organization and possibly being delivered to and opened by end-users. DMARC serves brand protection by preventing phishing messages purporting to be from the customer’s organization from being delivered to third parties.

Already 60% of the world’s email—nearly 2 billion accounts—is protected by DMARC.

Join the discussion and learn how DMARC may impact your messaging policies as well as the way your third party, cloud-based platforms send email on your behalf.
