Sendmail Welcomes Dan Petrozzo to Board of Directors

Former Fidelity Investments CIO and Co-CIO at Morgan Stanley Adds Global Technology Policy Perspective to Sendmail Board

Emeryville, Calif., March 1, 2011 — Sendmail, Inc., the leading provider of message processing appliances and applications for enterprise messaging infrastructures, today announced Dan Petrozzo, former chief information officer for Fidelity Investments was appointed to Sendmail’s board of directors. In addition, Glen D. Vondrick, most recently executive vice president and chief operations officer of Sendmail, has been named president and chief operating officer. These executive appointments continue to bolster a leadership team that has experienced tremendous growth and success in recent years. Petrozzo will join the board effective immediately and Vondrick also assumes his position immediately.

Petrozzo has nearly 25 years of technology experience in both the applications and infrastructure areas, and has held positions with technology and financial services companies including StorageApps and Deutsche Bank. Most recently, during his tenure as CIO at Fidelity Investments, Petrozzo was responsible for the overall enterprise technology strategy and oversaw the delivery and support of all internal and customer-facing technologies.

Before Fidelity investments, as Morgan Stanley's co-global CIO, Petrozzo managed Morgan Stanley's global IT personnel across all business units and as the Head of Enterprise Infrastructure was responsible for technology infrastructure across the company. Petrozzo is also the author of Successful Reengineering and The Fast Forward M.B.A. in Technology Management. He is a graduate of Moravian College and Seton Hall Law School.

In addition to the board appointment, Vondrick assumes the title of president and COO in recognition of his success leading the Sendmail’s customer focused sales and support teams to record revenues, and helping the company evolve from an open source and commercial software company into the leading supplier of message processing infrastructure appliances and services. With more than 10 years as an executive in the messaging security space, Vondrick has an established reputation of building strong relationships with enterprise executives and building teams that have become trusted advisors to global IT teams in the Fortune 1000.
