Sendmail to Exhibit Virtual Appliance Solutions at VMworld Conference

Emeryville, Calif., August 25, 2010 — Sendmail, Inc., the leading provider of reliable and secure email and messaging infrastructures, today announced it will showcase its Sentrion® Virtual Message Processor™ (MPV) at the VMworld Conference, August 30 - September 2, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Sendmail messaging experts will be on-site and available to discuss how Sendmail virtual solutions provide secure messaging capabilities with the additional benefits of improving messaging operations.

In the midst of pressures on technology executives to implement cost-cutting initiatives and improve performance, many are faced with trying to find solutions that meet current demands while not sacrificing their messaging security. Virtual appliances are pre-built, pre-configured, ready-to-run enterprise applications packaged with an operating system inside a virtual machine, allowing Sentrion MPV customers to reduce costs through server and application consolidation.

To learn more about the benefits of a virtualized messaging infrastructure, attendees can visit Sendmail’s booth (#940).
