Engineering Intern
We are looking for an intern with sharp computer skills that can help test our message processing appliances. The internship will be a minimum of 3 months of 20 hours per week with future possibilities outside of this scope. Familiarity with the Linux operating system as well as Microsoft Excel are the only prerequisites.
It is also helpful to have any of the following skills:
- Data structures, threaded programming, system administration
- Java / J2EE / JSF / Ajax
- Perl
- RDBMS (e.g., mySQL) - either at application level or internals
- LDAP or other directories (Active Directory)
- Messaging infrastructure: Sendmail, Exchange
- Messaging protocols: SMTP, IMAP, POP3
Working towards a degree in Computer Science or a related field is desirable.
This position is based out of either Emeryville (preferred), or Mountain View.
