Senior Software Engineer: Colorado

The Sr. Software Engineer will be a key contributor to the on-going design and development of the Sendmail Critical Customer Communications product line. This candidate will join a small but strong and fast-paced team taking ownership of the technical design, implementation, quality, scalability, and performance of product features in a Linux/Unix environment.

This is a full-time position located in the Westminster, CO area

Experience

• 5+ years Java development of enterprise class systems
• Experience building highly concurrent web services, SOAP/REST
• 5+ years of database experience preferably with MySQL
• Experience with ORM technologies
• Experience with test driven development using JUnit or TestNG
• Spring, XML, XPath, Jetty, Tomcat, JMS - ActiveMQ a plus
• OO design and development, including the use of design patterns
• Familiarity with content management via templating engines Velocity, Freemarker
• Familiarity with Java base UI technologies and/or Adobe Flash/Flex a plus
• Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns/Camel or Mule a strong plus
• Proficient on Unix/Linux based systems, including scripting languages
• Familiarity with iterative software development methodologies such as Agile
