Job Title: Junior QA Engineer (QA Engineer I)

Sendmail's Engineering team is looking for Junior QA Engineers interested in learning Quality Assurance methods in an agile software development environment. This is an entry level position and hands on instructions and mentoring will be given by senior members of the team.

Emeryville or Mountain View

Responsibilities:

• Write test cases which are appropriate and related to the specific story of the Sendmail product that is being worked on.
• Automate or manually execute those test cases and update the results on an ongoing basis until the verification of the story is complete.

Qualifications:

• Passion for delivering high quality customer-friendly products
• A flexible, positive, can-do attitude
• Computer Science or Information Systems degree with up to 3 years job related experience
• Knowledge of Internet email related protocols, including SMTP and LDAP, is a plus
• Strong written, oral and presentation skills
