Great First Half of 2010

We would like to thank all of our customers and partners for helping make the first half of 2010 a great success. These results prove the value of modernized message processing for enterprise organizations.

During the first half of 2010, many of our prospects and customers closely examined the possibility of migrating functions of their messaging to the cloud. In each case they gained a realization of their true overall messaging costs and discovered the valuable impact an intelligent email backbone provides to complement their email security products and groupware mailbox systems. We can proudly say that Sendmail Sentrion appliances are now implemented as a separate internal layer between all the major email security solutions such as Cisco/IronPort, Proofpoint, McAfee, and cloud providers Google/Postini, Symantec/MessageLabs, and all the major groupware mailbox systems such as Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Notes, and others.

Here are a couple of key highlights from the first half of FY 2010:

  • Increased total Sentrion unit sales by 50% worldwide as compared to the first half of 2009
  • One of the world’s largest banks, handling 1.2 trillion dollars in assets, leveraged their Sentrion email backbone and replaced Proofpoint filtering products for email security with Sendmail Enterprise Anti-Spam and Anti-virus applications from the Sentrion App Store
  • Replaced email security point solutions from McAfee at one of the world’s largest energy companies with Sentrion infrastructure and applications
  • Helped a major branch of U.S. government reduce operating costs through modernizing its messaging infrastructure by moving them to a Sentrion virtualized email backbone
  • Hosted successful two-day Messaging Infrastructure Summit in New York City where more than 40 enterprises gathered to exchange ideas and gain valuable insight on IT architecture and best practices for managing enterprise messaging infrastructures
