Our President and CEO, Don Massaro, recently attended Computerworld’s 22nd Annual Laureates Medal Ceremony & Gala Awards , an event which acknowledges individuals and organizations that have used information technology to benefit society. We are pleased to share with all of you that Sendmail was chosen as a Laureate and finalist for our work with Miele, which was highlighted in the case study submitted to Computerworld titled: “Email Backbone Modernization and Smart Appliances”.
The case study outlines how Sendmail developed Sentrion Message Processors to help businesses architect smart and flexible email messaging infrastructures, featuring Miele’s RemoteVision Program. With RemoteVision, Miele is proactively alerted to issues by the smart appliance via email, allowing Miele to contact the customers with critical information, helping save time and money. An internal email backbone based on Sendmail Sentrion Message Processors manages the message processing for RemoteVision appliances.
