Each year, the Computerworld Honors Program acknowledges individuals and organizations that have used information technology to benefit society, uniting Chairmen and CEOS of the world’s foremost information technology companies. Each Chairmen’s Committee member or company submits nominations for the people or organizations they feel demonstrated extraordinary use of information technology that benefited society during the past year. This year, Sendmail was nominated to the Computerworld Honors Program by Morgan Stanley’s, Merritt M. Lutz. We are excited to share that the case study: Sendmail – Email Backbone Modernization and Smart Appliances – has been chosen as a Laureate for the 2010 Computerworld Honors Program!
We are truly honored to receive this recognition from the Computerworld Honors Program. The focus of this case study was on how our customer, Miele, used Sendmail’s Sentrion Message Processors to create a smart and flexible email messaging architecture to support the new messaging demands of their “smart appliances.” In this case study, we shared how Sendmail embarked on an innovative new development project to help enterprises, such as Miele, architect a flexible email messaging infrastructure capable of addressing the new complexities of today’s messaging applications needs.
We look forward to participating in the 22nd Annual Laureates Medal Ceremony & Gala Awards in Washington, D.C. on June 7 where we’ll find out if we’re a Finalist.
