Sentrion MP 4.0 Earns 5-STAR Rating in SC Magazine’s Email Security Review

In the March 2010 issue of SC Magazine , readers can check out the latest roundup of email security solutions, which includes a product group review of both email security and content management systems.

If we can toot our own horn here for a bit, Sendmail’s Sentrion MP 4.0 appliance was included in this latest review, and received an overall 5-Star rating by SC Magazine Labs. Click here to read the full Sentrion review .

In the product group review, SC Magazine Labs evaluated all solutions based on six main criteria: features, performance, ease of use, documentation, support, and value for money. While Sendmail’s Sentrion scored 4/5 in the ease of use category for having a slightly more complex UI, it also earned a perfect 5/5 rating in five of the other six categories. Additionally, the Sentrion’s “excellent set of encryption and content management features,” as well as its “granular configuration and administration options” were highlighted in the review as key product strengths.

In the review, SC Magazine Labs also noted that the Sentrion “has an impressive feature set for both email security and content management, a myriad of processing options in terms of how it handles inbound and outbound messages,” and “tremendous capabilities with regards to anti-spam, anti-virus, content filtering and encryption.”

All-in-all, SC Mag rated the Sentrion “an excellent enterprise-class email security and content management solution.” And while all of us at Sendmail have always believed that was the case, it’s always great to hear that kind of feedback from third-parties, too!
