Great News for Sendmail – 2008 Proved to be another strong sales year

For those who may not have already heard, Sendmail announced some really great news this week – We’ve hit a record-setting year, doubled sales over the past 24 months, and closed two multi-million dollar contracts with two of the world’s largest banks to help  close a record fourth quarter.

The significant momentum Sendmail has achieved in the midst of the current economic environment goes to show that CIOs faced with critical IT investment decisions, are focused now more than ever on increasing efficiencies and reducing expenses without sacrificing the threat of security breaches to their organizations.

The most interesting factor, given the economic climate, is that Sendmail has achieved the highest sales growth in the financial services sector in 2008 by 40%. Here are a few more highlights we’re extremely proud to share:

  • Achieved 100% sales growth over the past 24 months
  • Closed a record-setting fourth quarter with 25% growth year-over-year
  • Secured the highest January sales in our 10-year history
  • Added 10 new Fortune 500 customers in 2008 and numerous Global 1000 enterprises distributed across all geographies and market sectors

Needless to say, we’re proud to announce that Sendmail has continued to remain strong in these harsh economic conditions. We hope to see more growth throughout 2009, as more companies turn to us to modernize their messaging infrastructure.
