Sendmail Sentrion Achieves FIPS 140-2 Modules-In-Process Government Security Certification

It’s been a busy and exciting week at the International Messaging Infrastructure Summit, and today we announced that the Sendmail Sentrion product line has been placed on the Modules-In-Process List for the Federal Information Processing Standards Publications (FIPS) 140-2 Validation: Security Requirements for Cryptographic Modules.

We recognized that government organizations want assurance that their data is protected and the FIPS 140-2 certification reinforces our ongoing commitment to provide reliable and secure solutions to our federal customers.

The FIPS 140-2 validation process provides stringent third-party assurance of security claims and to expedite the process, we were proud to partner with Corsec Security, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in assisting commercial vendors throughout the complex process of achieving government validations.

With the FIPS 140-2 validation of the Sendmail Sentrion Integrated Crypto Engine, we will be able to provide users with a high degree of security, assurance and dependability.
